When I was a child I used to get perplexed whenever seeing clothing stores stocked with boots and coats in the middle of a blistering summer. Now I have become accustomed to the fact that fashion is simply ahead of the seasons, with early-fall catalogues, that I gush to receive in the mail, out as early as August. Fashion has not four, but twelve seasons. (early fall, fall, late fall etc)
With the coming of early fall this year, I was so excited to see my favorite summer wear, the crop top, incorporated in lightweight cropped dolman sleeved tops, chunky knits, and ballerina-esque knits. This is just a little post to honor my favorite boho inspired summer and pre-fall wear, the crop top.
