Exploring Fog City

Despite the usually sunny weather in California, San Francisco can often be the exception. Today was gray and foggy, calling for grandpa knit sweaters, ripped tights, and warm loafers. I'm glad I packed for the chilly weather that this city often has.

We started off the day at the farmers market at the Ferry Building, snacking on fresh oysters and Boccalone's signature salami cone. We then ventured to the Nihonmachi Street Fair in Japan Town, and went window looking along Fillmore. Our final stop was the Mission District. I was able to find a pair of potential high waist shorts (DIY coming up!) at the two story Thrift Town there, and enjoyed the passion oolong at Craftsman and Wolves. Even though SF is not particularly sun soaked, I absolutely love this city.
